President Obama's Audacity of Dope (via montanafesto)

April 27, 2011

Today I had to concede to my Mother and her political views. She has persisted in her endeavor to convince me that Obama was not a good choice and was not living up to his campaign promises. As much as I hated to admit it she is absolutely right. Thank you again Montanafesto for continuing to expose the truth.

President Obama's Audacity of Dope By now it is clear to most Americans that many of Barack Obama's campaign promises were nothing more than hollow rhetoric.  Obama's failure to deliver is a relief to most conservatives who weren't excited about the prospects of net neutrality, higher taxes, and cap & trade legislation while Obama's base is also livid with him because he didn't fight hard enough for single payer health care or ending tax cuts for the wealthy, and he also faile … Read More

Democracy = Sharing: Aristotle has a point!

April 8, 2011

Has been another long week….. to say the least! Everywhere I go there is someone talking about government.  If it’s not about what is going on in the Montana Legislature, it’s about what is going on in the Federal Government.  What else should people be talking about!?  It’s a mess!

This morning I was on Facebook and a friend had posted this.  Thanks DZ, thoughtful words!

“If liberty and equality, as is thought by some are chiefly to be found in democracy, they will be best attained when all persons alike share in the government to the utmost” … Aristotle.  Truly this is a serious time in our government and our democracy … while some may think 200 years is sufficient as a nation to have matured, today we are confronted with the reality of how young and unstable it is .  Beliefs … passion … values …. are all core elements that we come to respect in individuals, however these same elements when not in balance can create chaos and disharmony.    Aristotle teachings may have something identified “when all persons alike share in government to the utmost” … the key word this morning as I read through the newspapers is“share.” Democracy is about sharing … sharing translates to compromise … government is the representation of all the people … and with power comes responsibility, not fanaticalism …

Fanaticalism = Milburn, Essman, Peterson, Knox…… most of the Montana Legislature, I believe, AND those outside the legislature Zabawa, Himes. Wanting all to conform to their way of life, driven by their beliefs, passion and values. It’s not about conform…. it’s about compromise…. we can all live together in this beautiful Democratic country of ours. My husband has a saying he uses often, “If we were all the same, wouldn’t life be boring.” YES it would. Our diversity and acceptance of that diversity is what make our county truly great.  Isn’t it?

Art & Drugs (via 4&20 blackbirds)

April 4, 2011

This lightened my Monday after last week’s legislative drama! Love Lizard’s poem and the post by Cosmicgardner.

Art & Drugs by lizard (artist, Ken Foster) AND What got me thinking about Art & Drugs tonight was seeing a banner proudly proclaiming that The Missoulian sponsors First Fridays at the MAM (Missoula Art Museum). Obviously, being sort of hyper-critical about our local fish-wrap, my first thought was: nice, after sensationalizing bad boy Jason Christ and spinning negative coverage of MM issues … Read More

Time for Intervention!

March 22, 2011

It’s time to stop standing idly by watching so many lie and create false stories to advance their agenda.  The truth about the benefits from the use of Cannabis (Marijuana) are everywhere for the world to see.  When will those who have been brainwashed by Federal Government’s propaganda see the real truth. It is time for intervention!  Yes, I believe we need to band together and intervene to stop the tyranny we are being subjected to.  Stop them from terrorizing good law abiding citizens.

  • Guns drawn,
  • Gas masks and white suits,
  • “Smash and grab”,
  • Putting people 0n the ground and handcuffing them

Have you ever had handcuffs placed on you?  I can tell you from personal experience it’s not something one easily forgets.  Your initial feeling is one of pure TERROR.  I was standing when they slapped those cuffs on my wrists behind my back and not by an officer that initially had his gun drawn on me. I cannot imagine how much more intense that feeling of TERROR  is as you are laying face down on the ground with your hands being cuffed behind your back by an FBI or DEA Agent that had just busted in with their gun drawn.

THIS IS TERRORISM BY OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!  and it scares me…… I hope it scares you enough to take action to protect our constitutional rights.

Please communicate by calling or writing members of the Montana Congressional delegation regarding these bullying terrorist tactics!  Are we now supposed to live in fear?  Ask for their help to stop the federal government from hurting honest patients and their providers!
